It was 9 weeks ago today that we brought Mackenzie and Cameron home from the hospital. It was 9 weeks ago tonight that Cavelle walked through our front door and into our hearts forever. I never imagined how close my husband and I would become to this amazing and outrageous Antiguan woman. She took charge when I was unsure. She taught when I was unknowing. She showed me what to do and more importantly why. She explained things. She tested me. She shared her stories and listened to mine. At 3 in the afternoon and 3 in the morning we laughed. We laughed and laughed and laughed. This woman came into our lives, blessed us with her knowledge, became a part of our family and also a dear friend, and left us tonight until who knows when.
